Product Description
Petrokem Epoxy 2K Floor Paint is a high quality, multipurpose two component, non-toxic epoxy gloss paint developed to meet the increasing demand for high quality floor and wall painting systems. It is specially designed for house hold and industrial environments. Recommended as a protective, decorative and water resistant coating for the protection and maintenance of bathroom floors/walls, kitchen/store room floors, concrete/cement floors, metal drinking water tanks, wooden/fiber glass boats and other house hold applications. The product is also recommended for airline hangers, swimming pools, ponds, concrete and cement water tanks as a decorative protective coating. The product will protect and decorate concrete, cement, fiberglass, all metal, wood and many more surfaces and structures.
Product Application
- Mix thoroughly equal volumes of Petrokem Epoxy 2K Floor Paint resin and hardener. Five minutes of thorough mixing is recommended. If too thick for the application use Petrokem Epoxy Thinner to thin the product. Use the mixture within 1 hour.
- Apply the mixture to the surface with a brush / roller / spray or by using a suitable equipment
- A second coat could be applied after 08 hrs if required. Allow the paint to dry at-least for 24 hrs before use. The coating will gain it’s full toughness in 48 hrs. If skid resistant finish is required, sprinkle sand or equivalent on to wet paint film of the 1st coat. Allow to dry. Brush off excess sand and apply another coat of paint.
