Petrokem Polyester Tile Adhesive® is a two component, average bond strength unsaturated polyester resin based adhesive specially developed for instant bonding of wide verity of materials including metal, wood, glass, ceramic, cement, concrete, earthen-ware, granite, fiberglass and hard plastics to themselves and to other rigid surfaces. The product is normally used as an instant bonding material to support the more strong adhesive (such as Fixrite® HDS epoxy adhesive) which normally dries in 5-10 hrs (Petrokem Polyester Tile Adhesive will bond the tile to the substrate instantly and hold the tile on to the substrate until the epoxy adhesive gains its full bond strength) Therefore petrokem polyester tile adhesive is normally used together with more strong petrokem Fixrite® HDS Epoxy Adhesive. Petrokem Tile Adhesive can be used alone if average bond strength is adequate for the work.
